What do guests say about Tastes of the Hunter Wine Tours?
Alex E – Reviewed June 2022:
We approached Tastes of the Hunter Wine Tours to organize our office incentive. Out of all the enquiries I made, Suzanne got back to me almost immediately. Taking into account my suggestions, Suzanne arranged an ideal package and the wineries were excellent, especially Travertine Wines.
John, our driver, was really friendly and made great recommendations to suit the needs of our group. I highly recommend John, Suzanne and the team and I’ll definitely be back.

Just wanted to pass on that we had a fabulous time on our tour over the weekend!
Grant was a blast! He was great value, made everyone feel comfortable and a wealth of knowledge. The wineries we visited were lovely (Ernest Hill was our favourite) and a perfect spot for lunch.
Really appreciate the extra service with the Newcastle drop off and pick up. We would absolutely come back again and will highly recommend to friends and family!

I’m so happy I booked a wine tour with Tastes of the Hunter for my 30th birthday! Thanks to Suzanne, the whole booking process went smoothly and it was so easy. Things couldn’t have been better on the day. Our driver, Kevin, was very patient and made sure everyone was always fine.
Everyone on the tour agrees that it was an amazing day. We can’t wait to come back and do another tour with Tastes of the Hunter!

Our Covid Safe Health Commitment:
We want all of our guests to be able to celebrate and keep their hard fought Australian freedoms as restrictions ease. The health and safety of our guests, tour guides and partners is very important to us so it may mean our tours run a little differently in the short term (but rest assured fun, wine and friends will still be high on the priority list!). As a result we have committed to the following to ensure tours run safely ….
- All of our tours require guests to use the Covid Safe check-in via the 2022 Service NSW app to ensure guest contact details are recorded electronically and safely
- (As we always do!) We will be ensuring that bus cleaning and hygiene remains a top priority with buses mopped with disinfectant and handles/handrails and seatbelts also wiped with disinfectant after each tour. We use Glen20 spray for cloth and leather seats. We will also have hand sanitiser onboard for use at the front of each bus.
- Many of our cellar door partners are opting for outdoor or semi-outdoor tastings (with such beautiful views of vines and rolling hills why be inside?). Industrial high temperature steam cleaning of glassware after each use is an industry norm.
- Tastes of the Hunter Wine Tours management has also completed the Australian Government Dept of Health Infection Control Training Course and the Coronavirus Prevention Certificate Training Course through TCP Training to gain as much knowledge as possible in order to direct our staff and policies in 2022 and beyond.
