1. How do I book a tour?
The easiest way to book is via credit card using our instant online booking system (click here).
You can choose your pickup point and let us know any other important details using our online application form (you will be redirected to the form after making your payment). You will receive instant confirmation via email – easy!
2. If I don’t have a credit card how can I book?
You can pay via direct bank deposit (check out our Booking and Payment Information page for the details)
3. Do you pick up in the Hunter Valley?
Of course we do! See our Hunter Valley Pickups page for the list of pickup locations. If your pickup location doesn’t appear on this list please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll let you know if we can pick up from your location.
4. Can you pick us up from our hotel or residence in Sydney if we have a private group?
Depending on your proposed pickup location and how many pickups you intend this may be possible if you live in inner Sydney or on the North Shore. We recommend choosing a pickup location near Central station (Sydney YHA – corner of Pitt St and Rawson Place) if you are based in West or South Sydney due to the enormous size of the city and the heavy traffic (especially on a weekend). Our travel time to the Hunter Valley from Gordon is around 2 hours (one way) – everyone would like to spend more time tasting wine than being on the road or stuck in traffic! Such arrangements make it safe and enjoyable for both you and the driver!
5. Do you pick up from Newcastle?
Currently we can only do Newcastle pickups for Private Group tours of 12 people or more.

7. Are there any additional costs on the tour?
Apart from your lunch and craft beer tasting (which is optional) there are no additional costs (wine tastings are included in your tour price already if you choose the Group Food And Wine Adventure Tour). You will have the opportunity to purchase wine, beer, cheese and chocolate after your tastings but again this is optional.
8. What days do the tours run?
At the moment we are offering full day tours with pickups in the Hunter Valley on Saturdays and Sundays. Watch this space as further tour options will be available soon.
9. Can we choose our seats on the bus?
There are no allocated seats so guests can choose their seats as they board the bus. We ask guests to be kind and courteous and consider anyone with special needs when it comes to their choice of seats. If you are being picked up from one of our last pickup points you will have the last choice of seats. If you would like more choice when it comes to seating please contact us and we’ll see if we can arrange to pick you up earlier in the schedule.
10. If the tour is full for a particular date do you have a waiting list?
Yes, we’d love to fit you in if we can! Please use our Contact Form or email email@example.com and let us know how many people you would like to book for, the tour date you are after and your contact details. A mobile phone number is preferred (or an email address that you check very regularly) as you may not receive alot of notice (it is usually the night before) if we are filling a cancellation.
11. What currency is accepted for tour bookings and whilst on the tour?
Only the Australian Dollar ($AUD) is accepted.
12. Can we eat or drink on the bus?
You may consume bottled water however we cannot allow guests to eat or drink on the bus as this is a legal requirement for private bus operators in NSW. There will be plenty of time for refreshments during the tour.
13. How long does the tour go for?
Our tour with Hunter Valley pickup usually lasts around 7-8 hours with Hunter Valley pickups beginning around 9am (8.15am if you are requesting to be picked up from Wollombi) and we usually have you back to your Hunter Valley accommodation between 4-5pm (drop-off can be as late as 6pm from Wollombi).
14. How do I book a Private Group Tour?
We’d love to design a custom tour for your group of 10 people or more. Just visit our Private Group Tours page, complete the online form at the bottom and we’ll be in touch. Once we have worked out the details based on your requirements you can pay via direct bank deposit (EFT/Internet Banking).
15. What if we have less than the required numbers for a Private Group Tour?
Our private group tours require 10 people or more and are the most economical for groups of 14 or more. We are happy to take groups of 10 people or more for a private tour however the minimum price will still apply. If you are simply after a group price for our Group Food and Wine Adventure Tour you can contact us via the contact form on our Private Group Tours page or sms 0403 001154. For private group tours we provide your group a total price rather than a per person price. See our Private Group Tours page for more information or to enquire about what price would apply to your specific situation.
16. What do I do if I need to cancel the tour I have booked or change tour dates?
Please contact us in writing via firstname.lastname@example.org. This must be done a minimum of 7 days before your tour departs (please note different minimum times apply to tours charged with a group price). 17. If I miss the bus can I get a refund or swap tour dates (even if it wasn’t my fault)?
Unfortunately we can’t offer refunds if you miss the bus. Please aim to be at the pickup point at least 10 minutes before the departure time. Holding the bus past the departure time is not possible as it will delay our departure and effect the enjoyment of other guests.
18. Are there vegetarian and/or gluten free lunch options available?
Vegetarian and/or gluten free options are available at most of the lunch venues we visit however we cannot guarantee it.
19. Can children join the tour?
The tour is available for adults of legal drinking age (18 years of age and over).
