1. How do I book a tour?
The easiest way to book is via credit card using our instant online booking system (click here).
You can choose your pickup point and let us know any other important details using our online booking system. You will receive instant confirmation via email – easy!
2. If I don’t have a credit card how can I book?

3. Do you pick up in the Hunter Valley?
Of course we do! See our Wine Tours from the Hunter Valley page for the list of pickup locations. If your pickup location doesn’t appear on this list please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll let you know if we can pick up from your location.
4. Can you pick us up from our hotel or residence in Sydney?
Yes – we will be offering tours with pickups in Sydney from Feb 2020
5. Do you pick up from Newcastle?

6. Can I ring for further information?

7. Are there any additional costs on the tour?
Apart from your lunch and any wine/beer/craft beer paddles/cocktails by the glass there are no additional costs (the tasting fees for the official cellar door presentations are included in your tour price already if you choose the Group Food And Wine Adventure Tour). You will have the opportunity to purchase wine, beer, cheese and chocolate after your tastings but again this is optional.
8. What days do the tours run?
We offer full day tours with pickups in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle on Saturdays and public holiday Sundays. Watch this space as Hunter Valley Wine Tours from Sydney will be available from February 2020 onwards. We can do private tours from most Hunter Valley accommodation locations, Maitland, Singleton, Newcastle and the Central Coast.
9. Can we choose our seats on the bus?
There are no allocated seats so guests can choose their seats as they board the bus. We ask guests to be kind and courteous and consider anyone with special needs when it comes to their choice of seats. If you are being picked up from one of our last pickup points you will have the last choice of seats. If you would like more choice when it comes to seating please contact us and we’ll see if we can arrange to pick you up earlier in the schedule.
10. If the tour is full for a particular date do you have a waiting list?
Yes, we’d love to fit you in if we can! Please use our Contact Form or email email@example.com and let us know how many people you would like to book for, the tour date you are after and your contact details. A mobile phone number is preferred (or an email address that you check very regularly) as you may not receive alot of notice (it is usually the night before) if we are filling a cancellation.
11. What currency is accepted for tour bookings and whilst on the tour?
Only the Australian Dollar ($AUD) is accepted.
12. Can we eat or drink on the bus?
You may consume bottled water however we cannot allow guests to eat or drink on the bus as this is a legal requirement for private bus operators in NSW. There will be plenty of time for refreshments during the tour.
13. How long does the tour go for?
Our tour with Hunter Valley pickup runs between 10am and 5pm with Hunter Valley pickups beginning around 8am (depending on the distance of your accommodation from central Pokolbin) and we usually have you back to your Hunter Valley accommodation between 5-6pm.
14. How do I book a Private Group Tour?
We’d love to design a custom tour for your group of 10 people or more. Just visit our Private Hunter Valley Wine Tours page, complete the online form at the bottom and we’ll be in touch. Once we have worked out the details based on your requirements you can pay via direct bank deposit (EFT/Internet Banking).
15. What if we have less than the required numbers for a Private Group Tour?
Our private group tours usually require 10 people or more and are the most economical for groups of 12 or more. We are happy to take groups of less than 10 people for a private tour however the minimum price will still apply. For private group tours we provide your group a total price rather than a per person price. See our Private Group Tours page for more information or to enquire about what price would apply to your specific situation.
16. What do I do if I need to cancel the tour I have booked or change tour dates?
Please contact us in writing via firstname.lastname@example.org. This must be done a minimum of 7 days before your tour departs (please note different minimum times apply to tours charged with a group price). 17. If I miss the bus can I get a refund or swap tour dates (even if it wasn’t my fault)?
Unfortunately we can’t offer refunds if you miss the bus. Please aim to be at the pickup point at least 10 minutes before the departure time. Holding the bus past the departure time is not possible as it will delay our departure and effect the enjoyment of other guests.
18. Are there vegetarian and/or gluten free lunch options available?
Vegetarian and/or gluten free options are available at most of the lunch venues we visit however we cannot guarantee it.
19. Can children join the tour?
The Group Wine and Beer Adventure Tour is available for adults of legal drinking age (18 years of age and over). Children (anyone under 18 years of age) are permitted on our private tours only by prior arrangement. You must contact us to let us know if anyone under 18 years of age will be on the tour as we may need to have child seats that meet the legal transportation requirements in NSW onboard.
